Shooting Helium

We peaked above 5000 feet asl yesterday, and had to valve some helium
to get there. It was the highest this ship has been, but still shy of
her max.

The ground crew worked late into the evening to shoot helium the hard
way - one bottle at a time. They have yet to hit an obstacle they
could not overcome. And this was perhaps the smallest. What a team.

Does this mean the children of Deming will be without balloons at their birthday parties for the next week? :)
