Things airship related and the back story on operating the Airship Ventures Zeppelin “Eureka” in the USA.
easy one... where are all the ground handlers? Not needed for a Zeppelin!
would it be the landing gear, wheel?
No ground crew?
Camera array/pod housing looks different to me?
Not visible in that photo, but what I noticed from the ground is that the stern cone of the ship is now blue!
Is the white dome near the gondola a GPS receiver?
I would guess that it is who is piloting the ship. Looks like someone new?
A cold lift? No engines turning?
It looks like the information on the bottom of the ship has been removed: "To fly, call...".
Ben Travis is in left seat?
It's Propeled and not Flotting'
Starboard vector up, port to rear. Normally in sync no?
While many of the above are true, the intended difference is that this shows Ben Travis departing on his first solo flight. It also happens to be one of the first days that we were flying with the additional blue dots bow and stern.
